Marley 'Re-burial' Plans Denied

Rita Marley, the widow of reggae legend Bob Marley, has distanced herself from reports that she plans to exhume his remains in Jamaica and re-bury them in Ethiopia. A spokeswoman for the Marley Foundation, who is travelling with her, said her words had been "twisted". It was originally reported that Bob would be re-buried sometime in February to coincide with a month long 60th birthday anniversary celebration in Ethiopia. Rita, who is currently in Ethiopia, has now denied the reports.

She did a quick about-face on this one, or the reporter who originally took her statement was severely impaired. It is interesting to note that she is in Ethiopia. Hmmm.

Whatever the case, the uproar caused the right thing to be done. Smile Bob.
