Elephant.

I must admit I kind of 'slept' on this movie when it came out. Van Sant has always been a little too out there for my taste so I didn't pay much attention. I dove into this movie last night and I was transfixed. The tracking shots, the over-lapping time frames, the lighting, was brilliant.

The obvious parallels with Columbine make it an eerie homage.
